Day rate £140 to £160 pending on experience

Manchester, Central Manchester

Contract Role 3 Months (Likely extensions)

Summary of the 1st Line Support Position:

This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic 1st Line Support to join an established, innovative organisation in Manchester City Centre.

This role is to ensure proper computer and peripheral operation to make sure users can accomplish their day-to-day tasks. The role involves hands-on help at desktop level, prioritising and resolving user issues, equipment installation and request tracking tools.

Responsibilities of the 1ST Line Support:

* Fix incoming incidents from end users.

* Logging incidents in the businesses service management tool

* Resolve incidents quickly and effectively.

* Support development and the implementation of new I.T projects and hardware.

* Recommend and Implement hardware software solutions.

Technical Desires from the 1st Line Support:

* Excellent knowledge of Windows XP / 7.

* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.

* Good experience in configuring and problem solving PC’s and Laptop.

* Good experience in configuring and problem solving printers/routers.

* Strong understanding of TCP/IP.
