The Company
Adecco is working with one of the leading distributors of IT, communication and home entertainment products in the UK They represents over 180 manufacturers in the UK alone spanning more than 38,000 products across mobile, computing and accessories, consumer electronics, gaming, print, networking, servers and solutions, unified communications and AV solutions.

They have recently relocated their business from London to Harlow to their state of the art building, and is looking to find talented individuals to move the company forward through its next stage of growth.

Role Overview
To introduce and promote our Audio & Digital Home range, ensuring sales and GP are maximised through the channel whilst delivering the best service and customer satisfaction to allow the company to be the leading Value Added Distributor in the marketplace

Salary and Bonus
The client is offering a salary of between £25-40k including additional a bonus opportunity that is very achievable and has a potential to double in most cases

Role Duties
* Achieving sales targets set each month by Sales Management.
* Hitting call targets both in/out bound via maintaining an agreed level of pro-active telephone contact with both existing and prospective customers, operating a call-out cycle, which includes updating customer events and call logging systems as required by Internal Team Leader
* To pro-actively seek new business in the specified product range, by targeting a combination of EU's existing customer base and prospective customers including end-users.
* Maximise sales GP by continually expanding orders and up selling on all incoming and outgoing calls
* To lead and work as a team to grow and develop the digital home customer within all sectors working together to prioritise to maximise sales
* To be an expert within the digital home product portfolio
* Liaise on a daily basis with your Manager and update them on any developments in forecasting, pipeline management, leads, sales and opportunities, etc.
* Meet and exceed the agreed performance objectives
* Assist the product manager to get dealers to attend events & seminars, to provide the sales team with information/training on the specified product range and on occasion assist with product pricing
* Maintain an agreed level of pro-active telephone contact with both existing and prospective customers, operating a call-out cycle, which includes updating customer events and call logging systems as required by Internal Sales Supervisor.
* Ensure that customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion.
* Manage and maintain any authorisation schemes & price lists relevant to your portfolio of products.
* Ensure that the external sales team are kept informed of any developments relevant to their accounts. Ensure that actions from visit reports are completed in required time-lines
* Work with other managers to devise successful sales focus days and spiffs. Develop product knowledge, presentations, etc.
* When needed attend customer facing meetings
* Ensure all orders received are entered into the Oracle system accurately.
* Perform any ad hoc duties deemed appropriate by the Sales Management Team
* Achieving sales targets set each month

* Talking to a mix of DH Dealers
* Customer service - as part of a team to be responsible for customer satisfaction for the digital home division

Key Requirements
* Experience in a sales or telesales role that involves in/out bound call targets
* Strong character with the ability to lead, influence and drive others
* Experience in a sales or Specialist role within a similar business model
* Can demonstrate a good level of negotiation and communication skills, both internally and with external clients
* Can provide successful evidence of working in a target related environment
* Good at building customer relationships
* Experience in New Business/Account Management sales developing opportunities to result in market growth
* A level of Presentation skills and a knowledge in Microsoft office
* Evidence of working towards objectives and achieving goals
* Familiar with Audio, Hi-FI & Home Automation
