I am delighted to be working for one the UK's best known non-profit organisations seeking an experienced Learning and Development professional to join as Training Delivery Manager.

Leading a team of Trainers, Assessors and a Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for their performance as trainers and maintaining a required standard for course delivery to external clients across multiple locations. Lead projects and initiatives for workplace and community training.

Your responsibilities:

  • Line Management including Recruitment
  • Coach and Mentor Training Team Managers
  • Implement a performance management culture
  • Build effective relationships with external key stakeholders
  • Ensure effective and professional delivery working with the Resources team
  • Ensuring continuous development and compliant delivery by direct reports
  • Deliver objectives in line with budget, business plans and other targets set by Operations Manager
  • Lead or assist in idenfication of, application for and management of charitable and public funding for community programmes
  • Act as a focal point in the sector for professional expertise
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction exceeded through delivery team

You as a person:

  • Extensive experience of leading a successful team in a quality, customer focussed and commercial environment
  • Proven track record of effective and appropriate decision making
  • Sound Financial Manager
  • Experience of successfully developing and training people
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate across all leves
  • Ability to manage/motivate a dispersed team
  • Expert in First Aid/Health and Safety training
  • Ability to work on own initiative, as part of a team and under direction from line manager
  • Willingness to be flexible to meet the demands of the role with unsociable hours and travel throughout the country.
