PR Executive - Amersham - Up to £30,000 plus bonus and benefits
My client, a partner led firm with professional services is looking for a PR Executive to join their team in Amersham.
The Public PR Executive will support the PR Manager in the implementation of the public relations strategy, as well as the successful running of the press office.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the PR manager, with the planning and implementation of PR campaigns for different business areas.
Monitor the news agenda and seek reactive and proactive opportunities to promote the companies messages.
Build and maintain a beneficial relationship with key journalists and media outlets across national, trade and broadcast media.
Write press releases and press comments.
Attend press meetings in the absence of our PR Manager.
Plan and attend press events.
Contributing to the PR plans with creative and tactical ideas.
A university degree with a concentration in Public Relations or communications would be preferred. A Chartered Institute of Public Relations qualification would be a benefit.
Previous experience in a public relations or communications role is critical.
Must be a self-starter, highly organised, and able to work well with colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
Must have solid communication skills and strong writing skills.
Previous experience of Public Relations is essential.
