Description

Michael Page's Facilities Management Team are partnered with a well established client who are offering the right candidate a great opportunity to join their team as a Contracts Manager. Looking after soft services contracts - your primary objective will be to manage the Soft Services of large retail sites within the Manchester area.

The main duties of the Contracts Manager will be to interact with key stake holders, and work with the contracts team to bring about PPM, reactive maintenance plans, respond to breakdown requests whilst maintaining all processes and procedures in accordance with company and contract standards. This will predominantly be relating to soft service facilities management operations in accordance with the companies policy.

You will also take real ownership of situations where the company is not delivering and manage complaints effectively, especially where the required high standards are not up to scratch.

Profile

The ideal Systems Contracts Manager will have good soft services experience in the retail sector, and experience with other areas such as:

  • Management of a multi-million pound budget

  • Manage and develop the contractor / supplier base in accordance with company and financial requirements.

  • Ensure all works are completed on time, within budget and to the required standards.

  • Ensure that the business is aware of compliance requirements and achieves full compliance across the sites.

  • Monitoring of contractor SLA's and KPI's including FM target responsibilities

  • Management experience within the Facilities, Property Maintenance or Construction sectors.

  • Management of large scale contracts.

  • Relationship management.

  • Planning and process management.

You will be based in or near Manchester, take initiative with projects and have a good working knowledge of BIFM standards and requirements.
