A leading York business are now requiring a Sales and Customer Care Consultant. The role will involve maximising sales from prospective and existing clients, as well as assisting in the delivery of high customer service across the company.

Key tasks will be:

• Maximising sales of a range of products during direct client contacts in order to achieve agreed pre-set targets.
• Making proactive, outbound sales calls to existing customer base to maximise up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Receiving inbound customer enquiries, identifying requirements and pro-actively responding and providing solutions.
• Answering inbound telephone calls from clients speedily within three rings, handling calls politely, courteously and effectively in line with company policy.
• Complaint handling and dealing with them in a professional manner and escalating to the Sales Supervisor where necessary.
• Good communication skill.
• Maintaining a high level of customer service which exceeds consumer expectations.
• Ensuring regular engagement with all customers, in line with the Customer Engagement Strategy, to develop and enhance customer relationships.
