A fantastic opportunity for an experienced General Manager has arisen to join a well established Hotel group in Northern Ireland for an exciting new venture. The General manager will be responsible for the complete operation of the hotel working closely with the owners to set goals for future development of the hotel. As GM the focus will be on Operational Efficiencies, Profitability, Customer Service and Guest Satisfaction.

The role will include:
• Complete day to day management of hotel
• Ensure Standards (SOP's) are put in place for all departments and training put in place for all staff
• Ensure Management structure is in place for successful operation of the hotel
• Ensure hotel is fully compliant with all statutory regulations and requirements i.e. licensing, employment, health & safety etc.
• Work with the Directors to determine Budgets and KPI’s for future growth of the Hotel
• To be visible to guests throughout the day, walking the property and meeting and greeting
• Work with the Sales & Marketing Team to ensure Sales/Revenue Targets are achieved
• Work with all departments on cost management and revenue strategies
• Work with managers to ensure departmental P&L's, Key Performance Indicators, Revenue and Cost targets for Rooms, Food & Beverage and other department are being met and exceeded
• Work with Directors to ensure hotel achieves desired results

The succesful candidate:
• Must have proven track record of General Manager from 4* Hotel operations in UK or Ireland
• Must be very proficient in relation to rooms revenue and room maximisation
• Must have worked in a hotel with large emphasis on Food & Beverage with large function area
• Need to be familiar with budgets and have a strong financial awareness of hotels
• Must be commercially astute and be aware of short and long term changes in the marketplace
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a large team and lead by example to achieve results
