This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious team and manage and develop the compliance programme across the spectrum of the organisations work.
Dealing with due diligence, regulatory affairs and any new services arising from the strategic development within the business. There will be opportunities for travel mainly within Europe but occasional long haul trips.
In terms of experience and qualifications you will have an undergraduate degree as a minimum; law would be preferable, but not essential and experience within the financial markets/industry would be beneficial but again, not essential.
3-4 years compliance experience, with a focus on due diligence/know your customer practices and client on-boarding as well as a wide variety of related responsibilities.
Basic understanding of European regulations.
As in any team, it is essential for the person appointed to be able to fit into a small, close knit team, to work flexibly and contribute to the life of the office. You will be pro-active, hands-on person who is keen to grow and develop within the business and take responsibility for their role. Whilst there will be support and training within the industry you will be a self-sufficient professional with bags of initiative.
First class organisational, communications (including excellent drafting skills) and computer skills are essential.
Accuracy and attention to detail are important in relation to the published output (both print and electronic) related to this work.
