Business Development Executive
My client is a flourishing business that is venture capital backed. They have huge, exciting growth ambitions over the next few years. Their culture is important to them and they require staff that have a desire to help shape the future of their business. This role is based in their office located centrally in Manchester.
- Secure new business through intense, outbound B2B cold calling. You will be talking to new prospects on a daily basis, arranging meetings and online demo's
- Working alongside the inbound marketing team, nurturing warm leads. You will also be responsible for generating your own leads using a number of strategic search tools
- Working closely with Senior Account Managers to close deals and bring new clients on board
- To achieve personal sales and performance targets and contribute to overall company sales targets and objectives
- Ensure sales are maximised and sales opportunities are identified, particularly in relation to up-sell opportunities
- Have a consultative sales approach and represent the business in a professional manner at all times
- Working on new business strategies for future company growth with senior management
- Minimum of 2 years’ outbound sales and B2B account management experience is essential
- Proven track record of exceeding targets by cold calling
- Sales track record clearly showing your previous revenue success
- A creative ability, coupled with an engaging personality and excellent interpersonal skills to relate to customers at the appropriate level (speaking with MDs, FDs, CEOs etc)
- Computer literate with an analytical mind
- The interpersonal skills necessary to develop business relationships
- Highly self-motivated, strong work ethic, with the ability to motivate others is essential
