A market leading, innovative software based company with offices close to Fareham, Hampshire are looking to recruit a Front End Web Developer to join the expanding team, working within an Agile framework. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has a passion for web development, looking to join a forward thinking and dynamic software house. Salary £35-40k plus benefits.

Working on a Linux platform, you role as a Front End Web Developer will involve working on exciting product development projects, participating in daily SCRUM meetings, developing code (HTML, CSS, Javascript) in line with the company's requirements, developing unit test cases, reviewing code of others, and occasionally working with the UI/UX designer when required.

*Proven experience as a Web Developer (Front End) / Software Engineer / Programmer
*HTML5, CSS3, Javascript programming
*Experience of implementing UI designs
*Ability to use an MVC architectural pattern for implementing User Interfaces
*Developing within a Linux environment
*Degree educated (or equivalent experience) in relevant IT subject

Desirable skills:
*Experience with the Agile software development methodology
*Any exposure to Dancer WAF would be beneficial, not essential
*Bootstrap experience is also desirable
*JQuery / MooTools / JavaScript (QUnit) unit testing framework is desirable
*Experience within the software industry

This role may suit an individual who has previously worked with back-end development but has moved into front-end development or a pure front end developer wishing to progress their career.

Offices commutable from Fareham, Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, Eastleigh and surrounding areas of Hampshire. Benefits include holiday rising to 25 days, 5% contributory pension, death in service (x4), free biscuits!
