Are you looking to start a new role ASAP? Carlton Recruitment is pleased to announce that our bespoke client is currently seeking a Part/time Accounts Team Manager to join their team based in Wimbledon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing two accounts assistants
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Treasury
  • Managing relationships with external parties such as Banks etc.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Managing accounts
  • Manage Relationship with banks

  • Lloydslink - Act as Administrators and Set-up new users

  • Co-ordinate Open Credit Facilities with banks

  • Investment / Non-Investment Accounts - Post Cash Deposits, Interests and Charges

  • Bank Reconciliations and review and addressing old items

  • Procurement Card Applications and monitor / assign limits to Credit Card Users

  • Petty Cash / Credit Card / Cheque Returns Reminders and Postings

  • Investigation of Petty Cash / Cheque Returns / Credit Card discrepancies

  • Produce and Share monthly petty cash analysis (balances / expenditures) & late cheque returns and work with Operational / Divisional Finance Staff to resolve

  • Purchase Ledger - Checks / Supplier Payment Policy & Check Invoices / Bank details prior to BACs run

  • Review Supplier Invoices received monthly to ensure there are no duplicate payments

  • Set-up Standing Orders / DDs

  • Run Daily Bank Statements for Cash Receipts

  • Update daily cash flow

  • URiB Accounts

  • Agency Accruals

  • Posting for de Poel, Southern Electric, Lyreco, Vodafone, Aviva, Gazprom, Legal, Gamma, Alphabet

  • Accruals for above

  • Staff Expense Claims incl Petty Cash

  • Month-end and Year-end Accruals & Prepayments

  • Line Manager Accounts Assistant and Purchase Ledger Assistant

  • Deliver Express Learning Sessions on Petty Cash, Cheque Returns and Procurement Cards to Operational Teams

  • Attend Divisional Finance Managers’ meeting periodically to highlight issues with Petty Cash / Cheque returns / Credit Cards

  • Job Share and cover for other Accounts Team Manager during period of absence
