A Purchase Ledger Assistant role is being recruited for a fast growing business in Deeside.

Client Details

With an international presence, this leisure business is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant due to it's growth and now want to add to their well established accountancy function.


Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, your role as Purchase Ledger Assistant will be in a supportive capacity for all accounts payable processing, as well as improving processes. Key duties will include:

  • Processing accounts payable invoices, matching and coding on to the system
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with queries
  • Month end reconciliations
  • Posting journals
  • Cash forecasting


We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant with the following skills and experience:

  • Some experience working in a purchase ledger function
  • Able to work at a fast pace and remain a high level of accuracy at all times
  • Strong Excel skills and able to efficiently use spreadsheets (pivots, tables, graphs)
  • Ability to work under pressure and possess strong organisational skills
  • Fantastic communication and able to build relationships across the business

Job Offer

We will offer for the Purchase Ledger role:

  • £18,000-20,000
