This History Teacher role offers a creative, enthusiastic and passionate NQT OR Experienced History Teacher the opportunity for serious career progression development. The ideal History Teacher will have the ability to deliver a high quality, clear and concise set of lesson plans ranging from any topic from Ancient Egyptian Mummification to Trench Warfare in WW1. The chosen History Teacher will be expected to take a proactive role in collaborating with the rest of the History Department to assist in creating an engaging, inspiring method of innovative curriculum delivery.
This South West London school is enormously accommodating to the history department with bi-annual excursions organised both within the UK and occasionally abroad to visit historical monuments and heritage sites. The school is under the strong leadership of a fantastically supportive management team who value loyalty and commitment highly. This school has previously streamlined the career progression of NQT’s and experienced History Teachers alike. Furthermore, this school has comparatively high levels of students who select History at both GCSE and A-Level standard due to the creative and coherent methods of teaching.
The role will allow for lots of freedom and fluidity when teaching your class, whether your style is traditional or if you are a teacher who would like to reenact Trench Warfare by setting up desks and using paper ball grenades.
