Can you get hold of a project, work independently, manage stakeholders and communicate well? Have you got a retail background and able to brief and evaluate multi-channel marketing activity for both range launch type activity and also promo activity?

Are you familiar with POS and in store comms but also awareness of digital channels?

Our client is one of the UK's biggest leading specialist electronics retailers based in Central London. They are looking for a POS Marketing Manager to join their expanding team. The business is very customer focussed with enthusiastic people, who are excited about technology and have a passion for first class customer service.

So what does the role as POS Marketing Manager involve?

  • Support the development of Commercial category plans by delivering effective range reviews through all channels and by identifying and supporting category marketing opportunities.

  • Assist with the development and management of an annual calendar of customer focused marketing campaigns and promotions.

  • Work closely with the Trade Planning team to ensure that the sales budget forecasts are effectively planned for.

  • Project manage specific promotional cycles from planning to implementation and review

  • Create and deliver a Merchandise brief for specific promotions

  • Manage all stakeholders to ensure effective campaign delivery in a timely manner.

  • Work with commercial team to identify supplier funding opportunities and support with marketing plans

  • Champion brand development across relevant categories in line with business strategy

  • Ensure that activity does not contradict the companies brand objectives and meets brand guidelines

What qualities will you need for this role as POS Marketing Manager?

  • Ability to develop winning strategies in line with stated company goals

  • Ability to progress simultaneously on multiple projects with differing timelines

  • Able to build multi-channel plans (on and off line) to deliver rounded marketing comms

  • Brief writing and creative review

  • Good numeric skills to understand the commercial dynamics within the categories and make appropriate recommendations.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills across all levels within the business

  • Ability to influence and gain buy in from stakeholders

  • Budget management and cost control


This role offers a salary of up to £40,000 plus a great package based in London
