My client is looking for a Childrens Registered Home Manager for their home within the Sheffield area. This is a children's home for young people aged 11-17, with Emotional Behavioural Disorders.

To be successful in this role, you are ideally someone who is hard working, knowledgeable and passionate about working with children. You will need to be a Registered Manager with QCF Level 5 or equivalent in Management, hold a Level 3 in children`s Workforce or related childcare qualification, and have 2+ years experience as a manager with experience.

As the manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, including the delivery of care, compliance and management of staff. The manager will be assisted by at least two Senior Support Workers/Team Leaders.

Day to day your job will include managing the service to ensure the efficient operation of the home in line with relevant legislation, and procedures as set by Ofsted. You will be responsible for all compliance matters, as well as safe guarding and liaisons with other relevant organisations/professionals such as social workers.
