We are seeking a forward-thinking sale driven area sales manager for our established family run mobility company. As area sales manager, your territory will be from the very top of wales the LL postcode to the borders of Scotland and therefore you need to be located around this area and happy to travel. In your role as area sales manager you will be understanding the company’s high-end products and how they relate to their competitors’ as this will be essential to the success of this role. You will get to know your customers and understand how they trade and take the time to understand their buying patterns and look for ways to increase business with a common-sense sales offering.

The Role

  • Develop a repeatable sales model that ensures consistent success and revenue growth in line with the business targets for my territory.
  • Continually developing best practices and leading successful sales campaigns.
  • Monitoring and reporting of pipeline business with a clear plan of converting this to sales.
  • Prospect calling and qualifying new prospects these are followed up with a visit.
  • Giving feedback to management in a timely and concise fashion which is easily transferable to the Customer Records Management system.
  • Being contactable by phone and email is paramount to this role.
  • Liaising on a regular basis with the trade coordinator to keep up to date with operational updates from Head Office.

The Person

  • A first-class communicator both verbally and in writing
  • You will need to be a tenacious sales person with a proven track record in growing and maintaining a successful sales territory
  • Ability to work to targets both monetary and those set by your customer’s expectations for communications.
  • IT literate
  • Able to prioritise work and run your own diary efficiently
  • Honest, hardworking with a professional attitude
