Graduate/Junior Sales Consultant with a driven & proactive approach together with a consultative/relationship oriented approach to sales/account management required by long established software house in Stowmarket to join their team in this exciting new role that has come about as a result of continued growth & success.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be very comfortable spending time on the phone as much of the role, certainly initially, will involve following up on new 'warm' leads (these typically come in via the website, trade shows or existing customers). The focus of this role is 100% NOT cold calling but rather on building relationships, establishing trust & maximising opportunities once a degree of initial interest in products/services has been shown.
As the role develops & as your confidence grows, you will have the opportunity to increase your level of face-to-face interaction, whether that be to meet new customers or further develop relationships with existing ones; this may also involve participation in on-site product demonstrations. An interest in technology or some level of technical awareness would be useful but of key importance is a willingness to pick this up & a desire to get up to speed with 'technical speak’ to enhance your credibility with customers.
