I am recruiting for the largest regional business magazine, event and digital information publisher in the UK. They are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance Team in their Manchester city centre office.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will be mainly responsible for supporting the team in delivering a robust finance function which both partners and underpins the business in a planned period of growth.

You will be solely responsible for:

- Full management of purchase ledger from start to finish
- Supplier reconciliations
- Managing supplier queries
- Bank Reconciliations
- Posting of cash receipts and payments on a timely basis
- Credit Card statement reconciliations
- Month End responsibilities, including accruals and prepayments
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:

- Good level of Microsoft Office experience
- Experience of Sage 200 would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team but also individually ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
