This role will be covering the Reading and Guildford area

Full time and Permanent

CMD Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be supporting a leading National Training provider in their recruitment for a Level 5 Health and Social Care Assessor.

As an assessor you will work with a caseload on average of 35 - 40 learners but this can vary dependant on sector, with the foremost focus being on the learners, their progress and their timely achievement. Trainer Assessors are expected to source a proportion of their own learners to shape a localised caseload, whilst also being supported by a motivated, energetic and engaging sales team.

You will work remotely but you won’t be on your own as you will form part of a regional team. You will have a passion for education and are dedicated to helping others develop their skills and fulfil their potential.

This provider uses e-portfolio so you can manage the learner journey remotely, which creates a robust tracking system. You will be provided with all the tools for you to do this successfully.

The teams meet on a monthly basis to share best practice, linking with other inspiring team members and are structured to support you and provide you with the best opportunity to succeed.

About you

As a Health and Social Care Assessor, you will be caring and passionate about supporting learners through their development journey.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Assessment Qualification (TAQA/A1/D32/33)
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care; or equivalent
  • RGN and RMA qualification; or equivalent (desirable)
  • Ability to demonstrate sector experience within a management role
  • Functional Skills Level 1 (Mathematics, English & ICT) or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working remotely
  • IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including spreadsheets

Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

As a Disability Confident and Investors in Diversity organisation, this provider is committed to providing services which embrace diversity and which promote equality of opportunity. We also offer a guaranteed interview scheme for applicants with a disability who meet the minimum selection criteria.
