Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an exceptional, energetic and organised Accounts Payable Accountant to provide support to both the Fabergé and Gemfields Finance team.

Key Duties

  • AP Ledger Responsibility - Ensuring postings are accurate and done in a timely manner
  • Creditor Management - Point of contact with external suppliers & internal budget holders for AP matters
  • Database Management - Ensuring NAV accounts system is updated with complete information for all Faberge suppliers and customers
  • Assist with VAT return preparations
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Invoice scanning and obtaining relevant sign-off within timely manner
  • Setting up payments on Faberge banking platforms
  • General ad-hoc duties (as required)

Skills and experience

  • A Level or recent graduate (minimum)
  • Part or fully qualified (AAT or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a finance department
  • Good knowledge of Accounting software (ideally Navision) MS office including excel
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
  • Organised - Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proactive nature with a desire to learn and develop
  • Strong attention to detail
