The company

Our client a key market provider of high quality, reliable satellite communications solutions, are looking to appoint a New Business Manager.

The successful candidate will take a key role in developing and delivering new business, working in conjunction with the Sales and Business Development Manager. This is an extremely challenging role with the ideal candidate having a proven track record in growing new business.

The Role

This role gives you the opportunity to work remotely or from the Great Yarmouth office, however you will be required to travel to attend appropriate meetings throughout the UK.

Essential Requirements

Experience in satcomms or telecoms.

The role responsibilities are:

Develop Sales Plan to meet New Business Sales Target

Attracting new customers

Achievement of Targets for Sales and Gross Margin

Prospecting for new business and development into customers

Generate leads and pursue these to closure

Generate potential customers through growing social media network and contacts

Attend relevant industry exhibitions to generate potential new customers

Ensure accurate data entry within CRM system

Utilise knowledge of the market and the organisation`s competitors to develop unique selling propositions

Identification of marketing and sales campaign opportunities working alongside the marketing team to deliver

Requirements

Demonstrable background in selling telecoms/satcomms

Ability to self generate leads

Strategic new account planning and acquisition

Strong commercial acumen

Excellent consultative sales skills with experience of strategic sales cycles process

Excellent communication and numeracy skills
