As the result of a strategic expansion programme, a new role has been created for a Data Analyst with the aim of rapidly developing into a Head of Data Analysis, supporting a rapidly growing newly created international business division. A broad and varied brief includes:
•Designing & creating algorithms that drive customer behaviours
•Using trends & insights to forecast & predict behaviour
•Using customer data & insight to enhance all marketing & sales activity
•Leading the creation of dashboards to plan & identify opportunities
•Driving CRM, tagging, search & analytical requirements
•Creating & developing a team of Data Analysts
•Utilising data to serve a personalised experience to a rapidly expanding customer base
•Define a data analytics strategy & roadmap aligned to business strategy & that enhances customer experience & increases customer value eg: personalisation, customer decision management
•Engage senior stakeholders to generate demand & appreciation of data analytics
•Communicate analytics strategy across the business to ensure it is fully utilised to deliver a better end-to-end customer experience
•Create new external partnerships across industries (i.e. telecommunications, banking) to ensure the business benefits from new thinking in customer & data analytics
•Generating profitable opportunities based on data analytics
•Balancing mathematical, quantitative data with customer based, qualitative insights
As a 2:1/1st class graduate with previous experience in data science, insight or analytics in large scale data sets, gained ideally within an online or subscription business environment, you will demonstrate a strong technical or data based background, SQL and personalisation engines skills and exposure to an entrepreneurial fast-paced business sector. The role demands a highly proactive individual to understand the strategic decisions of the business and shape the customer journey. Experience of Tableau, LookUp or PowerBI would be advantageous with hands-on SQL experience essential.
