Area Sales and Account Manager

Up to £35k + performance related bonus + Car + fuel card

Manchester/Leeds/Sheffield - M62 Corridor

The Role
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and highly thought of business currently undergoing a period of growth and investment. This is a field based sales role split between account management (75%) and new business (25%) - covering the North (although there will also be some UK wide travel). You will be responsible for creating and maintaining key relationships with end user fleet companies (particularly utility) and tyre companies. You will use your up to date market and industry knowledge to identify new opportunities as well as develop existing business - creating sustainable business relationships to secure profitable growth.

A long established UK based vehicle power solutions company (PTO), they are renowned for their commitment to innovative and bespoke PTO solutions in the CV market. With new ownership investing in its already great reputation for customer service and successful delivery it is ready to capitalise on investment by further enhancing the service proposition and developing new business in specialist fields.

About You
You will need to have a track record of sales success in the commercial vehicle market, creating and managing business opportunities through building long-term partnerships and driving commercial results. Technical & sales experience is a must, within the OEM, mechanical or service engineer environment - with a strong understanding of mechanical/automotive electrical methods. An engineering or business qualification is desired but not essential. You will also need excellent presentation skills.
