Our client, a well-established International Bank, is looking to recruit a Credit Administration Officer. The main objectives for the candidate are to work as part of the Credit Administration & Settlements Departmental increase and anticipated activity levels and organisational development program to strengthen knowledge and staffing levels within the Department.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include the following:

  • All administration relating to refinancing L/C refinance loan transactions including documentation, system input a, correspondence and calculations
  • Prepares and processes all Bilateral & Syndicated loan documentation and associated administration
  • Prepares and processes all past due loan documentation and associated administration
  • Processes discount requests on behalf of customers which include AML and Discount Facility documentation
  • Prepares and processes all forfaiting transactions including liaison with the relevant counterparty, calculation of proceeds, and input of transactions into the Bank's systems
  • Prepares and processes all Agency loan documentation and associated administration
  • Responsible for preparing letters, SWIFT messages, faxes and telefaxes relating to the business of the Credit Administration Department
  • Be familiar and provide cover for Treasury Bank Office products and functions of the Bank

Ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • A recognised qualification relevant to the position (desired not required)
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a banking environment
  • Good customer and interpersonal skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of banking systems such as Eximbills (AS 400) and Equation 3.6 and ideally FusionBanking Equation
  • Responsible, hardworking, self-motivated and able to work independently ads well and within set policies and procedures
  • Attention to details Extensive knowledge and understanding of SWIFT payments
