High Growth, International, High Street Fashion Retailer is looking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager.

Leading a finance team of three, you will be supporting the delivery of the strategic roadmap that underpins the long term growth plans. This involves both the leading of project accounting and financial strategy, as well as managing financial control

Responsibilities include:

Managing P&L performance

  • Provide periodic analysis of performance against budget/forecast and what this means in detail for the balance of the year, highlighting risks and opportunities and challenging business stakeholders where required
  • Develop and Analyse to identify risks and opportunities in costs and other operational / deep dive analysis to develop insight that will lead to better business decisions

Planning & forecasting

  • Lead the planning for the corporate 5 year plan, annual budget and monthly re-forecast process, working closely with the Group analysis and strategic insight, in order to help them deliver their operational and cost targets
  • Provide challenge to these stakeholders where necessary

Capital Accounting

  • Ensure capital accounting follows current thinking and best practice, optimising ways of working to meet both the needs of finance and the business.

Team leadership

  • Lead a team of one manager and two analysts to deliver the team's and the company's objectives
  • Provide coaching to team members and support them in their career development, creating a supportive learning environment in which talent flourishes

What we're looking for:

  • Senior Finance manager, ideally from a Technology/Ecomm background, with experience in an international/multi-currency business
  • Managing operational cost lines
  • Producing high quality, accurate analysis and communicating insight to senior management concisely
  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Working with finance systems and delivering systems change/improvement
  • History of outstanding performance from academic achievements and in career to date, with rapid career trajectory
  • A thought leader and a people leader who can take others with them through what they do and the way they do it
  • Mature style and gravitas, having the ability to present to and influence senior management
  • Ability to see bigger picture and contribute to any discussion beyond the specific remit of the role
  • Ability to multi-task and must be well organized; attention to detail; high level of accuracy; ability to meet established deadlines; ability to work under pressure; ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to rapid change
  • Strong customer relationship skills and ability to build strong internal relationships
