We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Legal department in Chiswick, West London, working as a Paralegal and Administration Assistant.
About the Role:
Your role will be to provide paralegal and administrative support to the BSI Group Legal Department which is a small team responsible for the Group’s worldwide legal affairs, company secretarial services and risk / compliance functions.
The role will include:
- Contracts and contract management
- Project management
- Legal research
- Corporate and company secretarial work
- Team admin support
To be successful in this role you will have a degree in English law (or similar qualification in an analogous jurisdiction) and some experience of working in business services or an office environment.
We are seeking an individual keen to develop and gain further legal experience in a busy in-house department.
You will be highly articulate, eager to learn and build on your existing skills in administrative support and law.
You must have good verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail, be self-motivated and have excellent time management/planning skills with strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel.
Experience in business services or an office environment handling a wide range of service requirements.
Experience of working as a Paralegal or within a legal team a distinct advantage.
An interest in commercial law is beneficial, but not essential.
Possibility of a training contract being offered to the right candidate at a later stage, so LPC is highly desirable.
