Part-time Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator
Excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant / accounts administrator looking for autonomy and part-time hours (c2 days/week), helping this established small communications business move all of their Excel based accounts onto their new Sage Line 50 system and making a difference to how they run the business whilst benefitting from flexible part-time hours arrangements.
You will be a confident user of Sage, have good Word, Excel, Outlook skills and at least a couple of years' experience in an accounts environment. You will be a confident self starter who will be keen to take ownership for the role after initial induction.
This role will also involve issuing and chasing invoices, purchase ordering, entering customer details onto Sage and co-ordinating with engineers in the field. Experience of VAT returns would be desirable but not essential and a confidence in asking customers for payment (credit control) and escalating if necessary would also be desirable.
Salary is c£20,000 - £22,000 full-time equivalent. i.e. £8,000 to £8,800 for 2 days per week.
