The Role : My client are looking for an individual who is a natural leader , strong commercially and understands the essence of commercial business ,sales, contracts , agreements , service offerings , sales and has experience in leading teams that are spread across many different areas of the business , operations , business development , marketing and head office functions. If you come from a technical , engineering background and have worked internationally also this would be advantageous
You will need to demonstrate that you have very solid experience in the following areas:
- Commercials - Are you a strong commercial business manager ?
- Very sharp with Financials and complex balance sheets - is this you?
- Natural Leader - A coach , supporter and involver - must be involved with teams ?
- UK and International market - experience of international business.
- Advocate of customer service
The Ideal Candidate: My client is looking for all of the above attributes however the personal fit is paramount. You will need to have experience leading across multiple disciplines and have a very natural commercial awareness / edge to business. Maturity and experience will be key so having an understanding , empathy , listening and being able to coach is key. You will very much be an individual that can digest information and share knowledge so team togetherness is created. A strong and confident understanding of finance / balance sheets and P&L is key also.
