Are you looking for a role that will accelerate your career in Finance? Carlton Recruitment is pleased to announce that our prestigious client is currently seeking an Interim Senior Management Accountant to join their dynamic and enthusiastic team, based in Wimbledon. Your role will include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of regular forecasts, annual budgets and all necessary financial and regulatory reporting
  • Regular cash flow forecasts
  • To provide insightful and value adding analysis & review
  • To support the commercial agenda and wider business strategy
  • To ensure financial rigour, governance and controls are in place
  • Delivering accurately within tight timescales on multiple projects
  • Review internal procedures, identifying any weaknesses and providing recommendations for improvements

Leadership

  • To retain an effective Management Accounting team by recruiting, selecting, and training employees so that service levels are maintained and people development is in place
  • To maintain employee performance and records so that effective people management in line with policy is in place
  • To contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed so that United Response’s objectives and targets can be achieved
  • To lead, coach, train and motivate the team by holding team and one to one meetings, regular reviews & appraisals, reviewing structure, resource and recruitment needs, resolving performance issues
  • To ensure effective communication within team, business and to external parties
  • To train front line Managers on budget holder reports including Profit & Loss accounts

  • Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
