Accounts Assistant/Sales Ledger Clerk

Permanent role to start Monday!

£23,000 to £26,000 per annum

Our client, a hospitality business base din Central London, is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant/Sales Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis. They want to start someone ASAP so candidate must be immediately available to be considered.

Candidates must have experience of sales ledger to include statement reconciliations, journal posting, chasing payments and raising invoices. You must have good Excel knowledge including Pivot Tables and V Look Ups.

The role will include:

  • Allocate all BACs payments received through various bank accounts
  • Post and allocate all cheques
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Raise all service charge invoices
  • Raise voucher billing
  • Raise and send out invoices for all promotional vouchers
  • Responsible for Gift Card sales reconciliation
  • Post journals
  • Investigating all billing queries and raising credit notes where necessary
  • Query resolution
  • Chase all debtors by phone, email & letter
  • Produce debt reports of all ledgers on a weekly basis
  • Produce cash forecasting on a weekly basis
  • Open new accounts based on results of credit check
  • Reconcile all debtor accounts
