A key role has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a fantastic company on a permanent basis. 

It requires a confident, focused and self-motivated individual who can work independently with remote support. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong attention to detail are essential.

Purpose of the role is to proactively support all finance issues and to be an integral person across the business. You will be responsible for:
- Managing all Invoicing and credit control
- Co-ordinating the book-keeping and payroll and to provide administrative support
- To be the key point of contact various departments and managers.

Duties of the role will include:

-Credit control
-Ensuring payment according to agreed client terms, calling the client to address any queries
-Keeping the sales teams updated on all credit control issues relevant to their clients
-Processing petty cash receipts
-Organising payments of suppliers for authorisation;
-Monitoring staff and company expenses;
-Assisting in preparation and monitoring of budgets;
-Managing general queries from bank and support questions
-Monitoring Cash flow in banks

The following attributes will be critical for the success of a candidate in securing this role:
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise work
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in working under tight deadlines with conflicting priorities
• Experience of working independently in a busy environment
• AAT level 2 qualified desirable, or equivalent experience
• Fast and accurate data entry skills
• Confident to talk to clients over the phone to get information
• Proactively find answers to questions they don’t know and able to ask for support
