My client is a specialist upmarket jewellery retailer with established and loyal client base and exciting further brand expansion and growth plans. They are currently looking for a Marketing Assistant to work across and take ownership or Ecommerce and Digital Marketing activities, working alongside senior management team.

The right person for this role is someone ambitious, hands-on, able to work autonomously, take initiative when needed and eager to learn and develop a strong career in Ecommerce and Digital Marketing. In this role you will be providing support and assistance across Social Media, Email Marketing, CRM and Ecommerce, with a potential to learn and develop SEO and PPC skills, if you do not have those yet.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of the day to day management of the e-commerce website including responding to enquiries and orders, managing the product database, refreshing content, updating design layouts
- Regular liaison with the brands' website development/hosting partners
- Update product titles, descriptions and meta-data descriptions ensuring that SEO best practice is maintained
- Manage and update monthly content schedule
- Provide monthly in-depth analysis of website performance and digital marketing activity focussing on traffic, engagement, conversion, competitor activities, etc.
- Coordinate SEO across the site from products, categories, pages and social media pages
- Carrying out regular analysis of competitors' websites and marketing activities
- Set up and manage campaigns on Google Adwords, Facebook and other PPC channels
- Monitor and adjust campaigns as required
- Finding and working with bloggers and influencers
- Build and send regular email newsletters, including generation of concepts and all relevant artwork (a very user-friendly platform)
- Act as Manager and Editor of all branded social media channels: Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
- Creating trackable content using Google Analytics Tools
- Track campaigns and report on monthly social media performance

Requirements:

-Experience working in a similar position overseeing Ecommerce and Digital Marketing activities
- A background in fashion and/or jewellery is desirable
- Highly motivated and keen to progress.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
- Highly numerate and comfortable working with data
- A strong commercial acumen and the hunger to identify opportunities to increase KPIs and sales
- Excellent project management and collaborative skills and a creative, confident approach to problem-solving
