The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warranty Administrator to work within our successful and prestigious BMW MINI Dealership in Milton Keynes.

This is a crucial role which provides administrative support to ensure full compliance with all manufacturer warranty systems and minimise the risk of warranty audit failure.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • To ensure that all warranty claims submitted comply with manufacturers` published manuals/repair time schedules and all invoices on the warranty debtor accounts are legitimate claims
  • To use all resource necessary to prepare accurate invoices for warranty work carried out, including manufacturer systems and Autoline
  • To comply with manufacturer warranty submission times without exception
  • Monitor claim progress through accessing manufacturer systems at least on a weekly basis
  • To carry out dealership warranty audits in line with the agreed timetable. Prompt action must be taken to resolve issues identified before manufacturer audits take place
  • Maintain good working relationship with manufacturer warranty department
  • Regularly check manufacturer warranty bulletins for any new developments and promote best practice across the division


Relevant Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Previous experience within a Warranty Administration role in the automotive industry would be desirable
  • Have outstanding administration, typing and data-input skills
  • Have excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills
  • Have high levels of attention to detail
  • Be able to comply with all company and manufacturer`s disciplines and procedures
