Data Analyst Bristol, England, United Kingdom DESCRIPTION As a Data Analyst your key deliverable will be actionable insights thatguide and support a product team working on improvements to the globalCookpad app. To achieve this you will design and implement robust dataanalytics and visualisations. The role is based in Bristol, UK - a city on National Geographics CoolList REQUIREMENTS What we are looking for: The role requires the following key competencies, skills and experience: Communicator: This is a collaborative role and you will need todemonstrate that you can engage, share and influence across multipleteams to bring about change and deliver outcomes. You will be confidentworking closely with technical and creative colleagues in a globalenvironment. You can ask the right questions and be able to translaterequired actions and decisions into technical data requirements. Technical Implementer: Ensure accurate and clean collection, storage,visualisation and insight across multiple data sources. Use technicaldata structures to design accurate and flexible SQL queries that can beused for visualisations and analytics. Design tests and hypotheses andinterpret the results in a rigorous and statistically valid way. Have ameticulous approach to data and always keen to make things better andmore efficient. Analyst: Assist product teams to make informed business decisions byinterpreting data and turning it into actionable insights. You use adeep dive approach to understand problems and can translate complex dataanalysis into understandable visualisations, assumptions and testablehypothesis. You will be confidently able to accurately communicate theoutputs of visualisations and statistical results in a simple, easilyunderstandable way to senior stakeholders. Passionate game changer. You are proactive, curious, flexible andalways focussed on finding possible solutions. You will be passionateabout making things better and have no hesitation in questioning thestatus quo. You can structure problems and synthesize large quantitiesof data. You are comfortable with ambiguity, creativity, and toconstantly ask why? Key Skills: A higher degree in statistics, computer science, operationalresearch, mathematics or any numerical scientific discipline. Excellent in depth detailed knowledge of SQL- certification is desirable Strong experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik) Knowledge and experience with statistics and strong technical skills Proven ability to derive insight from analytics data Excellent problem solving skills Excellent presentation and reporting skills A flexible and agile approach to ever changing and evolving datarequests and requirements Experience of product analytics in an online company is a plus BENEFITS Why join Cookpad?
