New Business Development Manager - Transport/Logistics
A brand new vacancy has become available for a New Business Development Manager.
Working for a major international transport company developing all business opportunities within the European and Domestic road freight side of the company.
Liaising with and working alongside the operations teams in Spain, Italy, Poland and Belgium for the European business and with the five offices based in the UK, warm leads will be passed on and quoting and pricing support given from each office.
An existing database of clients is available to be utilised for contacts and all training on any systems and industry knowledge if required, will be given.
The Right Person
B2B face to face sales, either from a FMCG, Advertising, Service sales or Insurance sales background.
The ability to work autonomously, using initiative and responding quickly to enquiries.
Being proactive with the ability to reach and exceed sales targets and KPI's.
2 years in the field or from a sales background experience minimum.
IT skills, Microsoft and Word.
Full UK driving licence.
The salary is very competitive, starting at £25,000 rising to ........ DOE for the right person this company will pay accordingly. If you come from a transport background and are able to bring clients/hit the ground running. The salary is open ended.
For a NBD Manager with experience but not within the industry the salary starts at £25k, and will rise DOE.
Fully expensed company car.
