We are looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse in Chorley, Lancashire for an interim role for 6 months with the possibility of becoming permanent. You will be joining a Nursing & Community provider for older people looking to remain independent. Our client offer three unique services to support people to live their lives the way they wish, with extra care when needed.

As Clinical Lead Nurse, your duties will include:

- Playing an active role in ensuring compliance within the services
- Maintaining clinical excellence, ensuring legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines are followed
- Assisting the Registered Manager in auditing care plans and documentation
- Liaising with families and other professionals to ensure that residents' care is assessed, planned and implemented appropriately
- Identify any risks and work with the staff team to promote excellence in service delivery
- Follow nursing policy in respect of custody and administration of all drugs
- Ensure that accurate care records are maintained in accordance with agreed policy
- Ensure that the service meets and exceeds CQC Essential Standards

Person Specification:

- Fully qualified Nurse (RMN, RGN) with an active pin
- Supervisory experience in a Community/Nursing setting, supporting older people with Dementia
- A strong passion and commitment to enhance the specialist services delivered
- Be forward thinking and up to date with current practices and have a desire to maintain excellent clinical knowledge
