Payroll & HR Assistant - PART-TIME (26 HRS)

One of our clients based in Totnes is seeking some temporary support within their HR team whist they recruit for this role.

You will be providing support to a busy HR Manager assisting with general HR Admin as well as the monthly payroll ensuring this runs smoothly.

PREVIOUS PAYROLL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION . . . . . .

The Role -

* Clerical and administrative support to the HR/Payroll department.

* Create, maintain and update employees records.

* Process documentation and prepare reports for the management team.

* Support the HR Manager with disciplinary and grievance cases.

* Assist with general recruitment business needs.

* Process accurate monthly payroll information.

* Update all contractual changes relating to salary, annual pay awards, change of hours etc.

* Calculate working time directive, annual leave and absence payments.

Previous experience is required for this position as well as excellent IT skills including Sage 50 Payroll (or a similarly package)
