QUALITY MANAGER - NORTH WEST
Purpose of the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management and implementation of quality management processes, to meet requirements of awarding bodies, SFA and OFSTED for Apprenticeships.
As the Quality Manager your role will be to ensure that the product or services provides is high quality and fit for purpose. Delivery is to be consistent and meets both external and internal requirements. This includes legal compliance and customer expectations.
This role is being offered on a full time, perm basis where you will be required to work from an office location in Greater Manchester as well as travel across the North West on occasions.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure quality & compliance standards are maintained to the highest standard in line with Ofsted/SFA and other funding organisations
Managing and completing all data returns required by Awarding / Funding organisations. Including detailed Tender, RFP or RoATP applications
Responsible for completing Self-Assessments and Quality Improvement Plans across the business.
Monitoring the performance of subcontractors/training partners to ensure delivery and targets are being met and are to a high standard.
Development and improvement of all quality / teaching and learning activities
Lead regular team meetings and set up a forum with partners to foster a positive working environment and a culture of support, collaboration and the sharing of knowledge and best practice ensuring a high-quality assurance process for all Teaching, Learning and Assessment leading to positive learner outcomes.
Producing regular reports for Directors / Key Stakeholders on funding and quality performance across the business.
Assisting with the implementation of new funding services / standards across the business.
Key Competencies
Experience of performing a similar Quality and Performance role within the Work Based Learning / Skills sector.
Experience of managing quality processes to ensure high retention, success rates and achievement rates are maintained.
Experience and knowledge of completing Ofsted / SFA related activities (such as Self-Assessments and Quality Improvement Plans.
Excellent understanding of the quality standards set by Ofsted
Qualified IQA / IV or equivalent
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle.

Minimum Experience (Essential)

Qualified A1 & V1 or TAQA or D32/D33
years' experience as Quality Manager
Experience writing RFP responses
Experience with Ofsted (Grade 'Good' minimum)
Ownership of SAR/QIP (development of process)
Strong Technical Knowledge
Driving Licence
