Site Engineer for growing civil engineering contractor based in Cambridgeshire paying £30,000 to £40,000
Your new company
A growing civil engineering contractor that provides services within Highways, Infrastructure, Groundwork, Utilities and Waste Management sectors to name a few. They have further plans for growth so are looking for an ambitious Site Engineer to bring into their team.
Your new role
You shall be setting out on their civil engineering projects and managing and developing the junior members of the setting out team. You will also be responsible for recording 'as built' information for the H&S file and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Assisting the Project Manager and Site Agents with site records, RAMS and permits where appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you are conversant with all surveying instruments, co-ordinate setting out and be able to work confidently with Autodesk Auto-CAD. You should hold a CSCS card and have at least 5 years site experience. Ideally you will hold a degree and SMSTS and First Aid would be an advantage but not essential. Most importantly you shall have a proven record of setting out on civil engineering projects such as earthworks, deep drainage, highways and infrastructure being capable of producing As-Built drawings of such.
What you'll get in return
