IT Risk - Technology Risk Specialist - Financial Services- CISA CISSP CISM

Prestigious Financial Services client is looking to expand their Technology Risk team in London. The IT risk specialist role is to assess technology risks in firms and to recommend action to stakeholders where it is needed.

The role requires a good understanding of the nature of technology risk, and the ability to assess those risks thoroughly and effectively in a business and strategic context.

Key responsibility
  • The role of an IT risk specialist is to provide technical expertise and support to the stakeholders on the management of strategic change and technology risk by banks and investment banks, insurance companies, Investment firms. Being able to ask high level big picture questions surrounding IT Risk.


Essential
  • Practical and technical industry experience gained in a financial services organisation or professional services company in the following types of roles:
  • Risk: for example, external or internal audit, operational risk, or business advisory/consulting.
  • IT Project Management
  • Relevant IT industry certification such as: ISACA's CISA CISM CISSP
  • PRINCE2 certification (or similar)
  • A background in Financial Services
  • Previous experience in professional services company such as a big four would be very advantageous.
