Web Developer, Web Analytics Developer, Frontend Developer, UI Developer, £40,000 - £50,000, WimbledonAs a Web Developer, you will work closely with the Analytics and Acquisition teams in developing and implementing tracking strategies to generate successful digital ad campaigns. You will provide the means to track and analyse campaign performance using partner-tracking pixels on Kindred websites through a tag management platform.

You will have a strong interest in marketing with good JavaScript skills. We are looking for a self-starter, highly motivated individual that thrives in a collaborative team environment.

What will you be doing as the Web Developer?

  • Set up marketing and analytics tags/beacons within a Tag Management System using templates or writing custom JavaScript
  • Create, document and implement uniform tagging strategy across platforms
  • Carry out pixel QA and auditing to ensure alignment across partner agencies with client tagging policies
  • Monitor page loads and tag errors on all platforms
  • Manage the marketing and analytics tag log shared across partner agencies and departments
  • Identify opportunities and develop the processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally in daily execution
How will you be measured as the Web Developer?

  • You will be measured for your ability to get tasks completed on time and taking responsibility for their work and the deliveries of their team
  • Ability to integrate well with Team and working well within the team and across the teams and organisation
  • Ability to understand and follow Kindred Development processes and methodologies which will be reflected in the quality of the code written
  • Quality control of the process will be measured against the production issues raised in this area
  • Ability to master the fundamental of continuous integration , development and deployment practice and always tries to improve the way we work
What have you done previously as a Web Developer?

  • Experience developing, managing, maintaining, and supporting the web analytics infrastructure, data collection, site tracking tactics, tools and technical process integration for enterprise web applications
  • JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, etc.
  • Experience with tag management systems such as Adobe DTM, Ensighten, Tealium, etc.
  • Web browser-debugging skills using tools such as Charles or Fiddler and tag monitoring tools like Ghostery, Dynatrace etc. 
  • Understanding of jQuery, CSS (Selectors) and REGEX (Regular Expressions)
  • Hands on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS, jQuery, etc. is a plus
  • Knowledge in digital analytics is a big plus
  • Experience and knowledge in unit testing, automated testing or TDD preferred.
  • Understanding of media and creative strategies and problem solving to enable those strategies
  • Excellent organization and time management; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Degree preferred in computer science, statistics, economics or other math/science related field
