Global IT Business Partner - AML / KYC

My client is looking for a Programme Manager / IT Business partner in Compliance & Risk to be the business partner and be the IT head and adviser to the functional Exec stakeholders on all aspects of leading, developing and implementing the business / function IT strategy and service, providing sound, imaginative advice. You will be driving value from IT through being the voice of the customer into the IT supply chain, and through being the voice of IT into the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Strategic Business Partner with experience in Financial Crime, Compliance & Risk background. You will be the key link between IT & the Business facing off to all internal and external teams and vendors.

This role will be split between London & Peterborough with the occasional international travel required.

Your experience in Financial crime, Compliance & Risk - AML / KYC is essential to this role and will be the subject matter expert. Your abilities include seeing the big picture and thinking strategically, analysing complex business requirements and IT delivery options, able to translate them into actionable deliverables (be it projects or BAU resolutions) and drive them to completion.

Key areas of responsibility:

- Looking after an IT/Business agenda of various day-to-day IT matters affecting business and delivery of projects.
- First-hand experience / knowledge of IT project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) with formal Project Delivery Accreditations (such as Prince2, MSP, APM, etc.)
- Establishing credible relationships within IT and Business stakeholders.
- Line management of Project Managers and Business Analysts and other IT resources.
- Ability to build successful project teams, covering resources spread across business and IT typically without direct line management responsibility.
- Building consensus around change, influencing multiple IT/business stakeholders and managing conflicting agendas.
