Infrastructure Manager, with a strong technical Linux skills and team management experience, is required for a technology organisation based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, paying £50,000 - £70,000.

Working for a technology organisation, the Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for managing the infrastructure operations function which involves managing the Linux infrastructure estate and developing and managing the technical Infrastructure Support Engineers. You will play a key role in supporting the team management leadership function and it's overall strategy and you will work closely with the DevOps and Development functions. The technical setup is based around the Linux estate and its accompanying technological infrastructure including Ubuntu Server Edition.

Essential skills:
- Strong and proven team management and team leadership experience
- Excellent experience of supporting Linux infrastructure environments
- Strong background and understanding of Linux and its accompanying technologies
- Strong experience of running large scale web applications on Linux
- Strong experience of supporting large scale environments (50+ servers)
- Highly organised with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

This position would suit an Infrastructure Manager / Head of IT / IT Manager / Head of Infrastructure / Linux Infrastructure Support Manager / Infrastructure Team Leader, who has excellent experience of leading and managing infrastructure teams within large scale web applications on Linux.

This Infrastructure Manager / Linux Infrastructure Support Manager position is looking to start ASAP, based in Portsmouth and will be flexible on pay, ranging from £50,000 - £70,000 depending upon background and experience + benefits + excellent company perks.
