Senior Project Manager

The Estates Directorate is seeing to make the appointment of project managers at various levels to strengthen the capability of the Capital Programme team that is responsible for delivering the University’s long term £100m p.a. development programme. Reporting to the Head of Capital Programme, the Senior Project Manager will lead on the management of major capital projects across the University’s diverse estate portfolio of research facilities, academic buildings, commercial space, public realm, recreational and sports facilities and historic buildings.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing large scale, technically complex projects in a client side or client’s consultant role. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and collaborative communication style. Strong technical skills are essential as it is expected that candidates will be adept at managing all stages of the project lifecycle from briefing and design development through to procurement and construction delivery.
