How would you like to work for a Multi National large Engineering firm with a focus on Construction for residential builds, multi storey builds & temporary works.

Due to an increase in pipeline they now require 2 Direct works Project Managers for Projects around the M25 and towards Oxford.


Lead the construction of allocated projects to deliver in accordance with client and stakeholder requirements in line with time and cost constraints to safely achieve profit objectives Governance and control approach.

Role Accountabilities:

Safety Management: Lead all aspects of safety actively on assigned project - induction,site rules,pre start interviews,project safety committee and project safety leadership teams.

Drive and implement pictorial/visual/3D and 4D modelling to inform project teams.

Quality Management: To close out projects and ensure QA/QC issues are all resolved, O + m manuals issued, practical completion achieved and snags/defects/revisits all closed out.

Commercial Management: Review project costs and take corrective action if significant deviations from budget occur.
Ensure all aspects of cost recovery, as required of the contract, are clearly defined and deployed by the project team to ensure recovery is not compromised.

Programme Management: Authorise construction planning, programming and on-site completion schedules and liaise with the project team over completion dates for different phases of construction.

Design & Temporary Works: Implement stringent governance on project design process and deliverables reporting regularly with monthly contract review and flagging issues upon discovery to Ops Manager/Project Leader

Staffing and Labour Management: Undertake regular reviews of team assigned with success factors and mentor staff and personnel assigned to develop and ensure positive staff engagement.

Supervise and schedule the activities of all project staff to ensure coordination of the project and control project execution.


Civil Engineer Qualification/Construction Management Qualification or similar to Degree standard
Project Management experience in Construction/Civil Engineering
Previous experience with both Residential & Commercial builds
CSCS/IOSH/Temporary Works Awareness
