Our client has an exciting new role for a Digital Product Manager to join a growing company in central Bath. Playing a key role in the delivery of web based services, this position will be ideal for candidates with experience of project managing web projects.

Our client is recruiting on behalf of the UK’s leading careers publisher, creating and publishing inspiring and helpful information about careers and going to university for students and professionals. 

The Digital Project Manager will:

- Play a key role in a small team set up to drive this part of the business forward
- Manage the completion of the product development including managing a testing phase with external testers
- Contribute ideas to enhance customer experience & results
- Work closely with a number of internal and external contributors to deliver design, build, content and functionality
- Liaise with colleagues to help maximise the commercial success of the sites
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to maintain and further develop content and functionality of all sites and services once live
- Complete projects on time and to budget through excellent organisation skills and application
- Demonstrate the product to groups of potential customers 
- Support early customers set up and use the system, and monitor results to feedback into improving the company’s product

To be considered, you will need a track record of successfully completing web development projects combined with experience of understanding the design and presentation of rich content in a digital environment. 

Our client is seeking someone who is happy and willing to take initiative and that will feel comfortable working in a group that is breaking new ground for the business (but doesn’t always have the answers). This means that a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, both oral and written are essential. And as this is an exciting early stage project, candidates should also expect to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in to a wide variety of tasks.

Successful candidates will also be comfortable showing others the company’s product in person or face to face.

A proven interest in supporting students in education would be an advantage.
