This IT support business has an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and experienced Account Manager who's looking for an opportunity where they can make a real difference by joining their growing company.

They are looking for a motivated individual who's passionate about delivering results. You must be happy working independently as well as part of a team. The person they are searching for should be happy to work and behave in-line with their values. They are also ISO 9001 registered - so you should be happy to use their Quality Management System and contribute ideas to improve it.

This role would suit someone who loves to multitask and be involved in different parts of finding and managing clients.

Responsibilities

New Sales
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand a database of prospects.
- Create quotes and proposals, liaising with vendors for pricing.
- Take sales calls.

Client Account Management
- Develop and grow existing accounts by introducing new products and services.
- Create quotes and proposals, liaising with vendors for pricing.
- Discuss, advise and provide quotations to clients for project requirements.
- Create technology roadmaps.
- Manage contract lifecycle.

Experience and Skills
- Proven sales experience.
- Strong phone presence and experience of making many calls per day.
- Experience of using a Sales CRM.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Knowledge of commercial IT solutions and managed services
- Demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced environment, delivering targets, goals and financial results
- Strong assertiveness skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong analytical, logical and reporting skills
- A full UK driving licence is essential
