FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE - M4 CORRIDOR

THE COMPANY: Our client are a leading manufacturer and supplier of plastic building, plumbing and drainage products for the residential and commercial market. An exciting opportunity has arisen due to expansion to join the external sales team.
THE ROLE: Field Sales Representative
This is a superb opportunity for a dynamic, driven individual to build on or even start a career in sales with a leading manufacturer in the construction sector.
Covering an area along the M4 corridor you’ll need to target and build relationships with a portfolio of customers that include Builders and Plumbers Merchants, Plastic Stockists, Roofing Merchants and DIY Multiples. This is an ideal opportunity to forge a sales career for an expanding and progressive manufacturer.
The role will be a mixture of new business generation and existing account management and will require approximately 2 overnight stays a week as you manage an area between Swansea and Reading.
THE AREA: M4 Corridor & M25 - West London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire Wiltshire.
Ideally located West London, Guildford, Bracknell, Reading, Slough
THE CANDIDATE: You will ideally have a sales background either in another field sales position or be based internally and looking to take the step onto the road, maybe an ABM in a Merchant for example.
In an ideal world you would have worked within the building/plumbing products industry however full product training is given.
Personality, hunger and the desire to be successful are the key attributes required. You’ll need to be organised, very self-motivated and enthusiastic whilst candidates should also hold a valid driving licence, have a good working knowledge of IT (Word, Excel, Internet & email), excellent communication and organisational skills.
