Your new role
Working within the Process Engineering department as a Project Manufacturing Engineer you will take responsibility for the management and improvement of Manufacturing processes across plants nationally. You will take a lead on Product and Process FMEA activities and help to implement standardised processes across all plants which is in line with the Groups central procedures and policies. This is a wide and varied role where additional responsibilities will also include the management of material and process flows, process validations and taking responsibility for the purchasing of materials and investments.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience of process standardisation on a large scale, where you will have taken responsibility for process improvement activities within a busy Manufacturing environment. You will have a strong knowledge of FMEA's whilst having experience of managing technical specifications, tooling and machinery. What is most important is that you can effectively bring about process improvements in a large fast paced manufacturing environment, ideally within the Automotive Industry however other industries would also be considered.
