My global Electronic software client is looking for additional Inside sales people for its UK Head office in Peterborough.
The Role - Senior Telesales
The sales process starts with a phone call. You will be a 'Meeting Booker'. The job of a Booker is to help find leads, cold call into companies, and qualify requirements to ensure a good fit. Meetings are booked for the Field Sales team, and there is a good deal of synergy between Meeting Bookers and Field Sales - it's very much a team effort.
Attitude is key! You will be taught everything you need to know to do the job, most important is that you have the right mindset.
Firstly, you're not afraid to pick up the phone - your job is about cold calling. As a character, you should be bursting full of energy! You're a smart, resourceful, and very positive person, who tends to look on the bright side. You're a confident and natural communicator, and very social.
A competitive nature is very much encouraged and performance is key, but this is a team sport - so you need to be there for your colleagues, to help them to perform as well as they can too.
You must have a proven history of telephone sales performance - from cold, with a new business focus.
